Looking for real experience and a paid opportunity on event day?
The Carousel Tapes is a new two-year programme supporting Nottingham’s next wave of grassroots music talent.
Across the project we will:
Run 6 live recorded music showcases
Build an archive of Nottingham’s local music scene
Train up to 24 emerging creatives
Participants will receive hands-on training in:
Sound engineering
Lens-based production (filming and documenting live events)
Promotion and marketing
Training leads directly into paid opportunities to work on live event days, helping deliver professionally recorded showcases that will become part of The Carousel Tapes archive of Nottingham music.
We are looking for emerging artists, musicians, technicians, promoters and creatives who want to develop skills, build portfolios and gain real live event experience.
Based at The Carousel, Nottingham.
